ABOUT Malory

Malory Wheaton is creative and fashion professional, specializing in fashion direction, creative direction, editorial, trend forecasting and product development. Most recently, she has worked extensively for major retail brands including Steve Madden, Lord & Taylor and Hudson's Bay. Her work in retail fashion direction and product development has been featured in Vogue Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle Magazine. She was awarded Executive of the Year by Hudson's Bay Company for her entrepreneurial success in launching a trend focused private label, and for her influence on the contemporary business at large. 

She also works as a creative consultant working with emerging brands in fashion and in consumer packaged goods. Her work includes creative direction, concept direction, product direction, marketing and social media direction and packaging direction for clients in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and alcohol spaces.

Beyond her passion behind the scenes, Malory has also worked in front of the camera— serving as a brand ambassador, curating and hosting video content.

As the former Fashion News Editor at Lucky Magazine, Malory continues to bring forth an accessible, yet cutting edge editorial point-of-view to all of her creative work. 

In addition to her career in creative and fashion direction, Malory has additional experience ranging from public relations, to art direction, to fashion design, to fashion news reporting at companies including Vogue Magazine, Lucky Magazine, Tommy Hilfiger, Peter Som, Jill Stuart and Lloyd and Company Fashion Advertising Agency.
